Alan Cumming

Along with Sean Bean, Alan Cumming is an alumnus of the James Bond flick GoldenEye, in which he plays a super-creepy Russian computer guy with a pen fixation. As Cool Bad Guys go, he certainly had one of the best death scenes in ANY film. And is there an accent Alan Cumming can't do? We LOVE this guy!

Mr. Cumming also portrayed one of the creepier Bad Guys ever, as Sean Bloody Walsh (sorry, that's just how we think of him) in Circle of Friends, opposite Minnie Driver. Anyone who tries to force 1950's era Irish Catholic girls to take off their clothes deserves to be on this list somewhere.

In a stellar example of a potential Bad Guy Gone Horribly Good, Mr. Cumming turned in an admirable Performance Of a Blue Character as Kurt Wagner, or as they called him in the Munich Circus, The Incredible Nightcrawler, in X2. We also find the prehensile tail...intriguing. We thought in the first scene that Brian Singer may have let him come over to the Dark Side, but alas, Mind Control. Here's hoping that this is a temporary condition, and Nightcrawler comes to his senses in time for X3.
